Ecstasy
Ecstasy
Ecstasy, also known as MDMA (3,4-methylenedioxymethamphetamine), is a synthetic drug that alters mood and perception. It produces feelings of increased energy, pleasure, emotional warmth, and distorted sensory and time perception. Ecstasy is commonly used as a party drug, and is often associated with the rave and electronic dance music (EDM) culture. However, its use can also have serious health consequences, including dehydration, hyperthermia, and in rare cases, seizures or even death.
